Apparently everyone at work thinks I'm good at picking out fabrics and scheming which is why I was asked to go the D&D (Design & Decoration) Building yesterday to find options to present to a new client. If you've never been, it's an interesting place. Sometimes I'm made to feel like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman before the makeover and other times I have to explain that the purple and pink combination for which I'm searching is for a client and not me. But the Romo showroom is like a breath of fresh air. It's clean and inviting and the employees couldn't be nicer. The have great fabrics and wallcoverings in an array of colors and patterns. I wish I was designing a house in the Hamptons because the Manderley Collection in Alpine would be perfect!
