Chic Birthday!

I'm taking the day off to enjoy a birthday lunch and trip to the Cooper-Hewitt to finally see the Sonia Delaunay exhibition.  Then I will be enjoying the best present of the day, the return of Gossip Girl!  Later skaters!

I love this photo. I posted it two years ago on my birthday and I think I might make it an annual tradition. What could be better than a paper crown and a doll in a cake?! Birthday Baggage

My birthday is this weekend and I'm trying to figure out what to buy myself. While these spring and summer Celine handbags are bit more than I would like to spend, they are definitely calling my name! Me likey!

Spring Has Finally Sprung!

We interrupt our regularly scheduled Kips Bay Decorator Show House coverage to thank Mother Nature for hearing our pleas and warming up the New York weather! The sun is shining! The birds are chirping! The tulips on Park Avenue are blooming! I couldn't have asked for a better birthday present! Happy Spring!

And one to grow on...

Sorry I've been MIA for the last few days. My cable and internet were out all night Thursday and today I've been traveling around the eastern seaboard thanks to USAirways. Probably not the best idea to travel on your actual birthday. (Remind me to tell you that story later!) I also know that I said I wanted to spend my birthday in Paris but it just didn't seem like a good time with the terrible exchange rate and my starting my new job so I'm spending it Pennsylvania with my family and friends.

I'm too tired to eat cake tonight so we're saving it for tomorrow so I can blow out my candles, including "one to grow on." (Don't even think of asking how many!) I'm not sure what I'm going to wish for yet but I'm sure I'll think of something good. But I can't tell you or else it won't come true!
